Tomorrow, November 22nd, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be sponsoring the 10th annual National Survivors of Suicide Day. The day takes place every year on the saturday before Thanksgiving and was created by U.S. Senate resolution, through the efforts of Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, who lost his father to suicide. Every year, AFSP sponsors an event to provide an opportunity for the survivor community to come together for support, healing, information and empowerment. Below are links for more information on the day and conferences all around the country that you can attend or watch online.
